Since 2003, Fondation Émergence has offered a recognition ceremony for individuals or organizations that have clearly distinguished themselves in the fight against homophobia and transphobia. The prizes awarded are the Laurent-McCutcheon Prize, the Janette-Bertrand Prize and the Coup de Coeur Prize.

2024 EMERGENCE GALA

After 20 years of recognizing organizations and individuals fighting against homophobia and transphobia during the Fondation Émergence Awards Ceremony, it was time for us to get a makeover!

It is therefore with great excitement that we unveil the new identity of this ceremony which becomes: "The Gala Emergence of the Fondation Émergence!

New name, new concept, new price, this Gala is transformed into a benefit evening to which you are all invited.

This evening will be an opportunity to raise funds to support our mission as well as the deployment of our various awareness programs while highlighting the efforts, commitment and involvement of personalities and organizations that campaign for the recognition of the rights of LGBTQ+ people.

Gala Emergence 2023

Is it at the Paradoxe theater, June 7 at 5:30 p.m. that this is due to our brand new formula of our traditional Fondation Émergence Award Ceremony :the Gala Emergence!

During this evening, presented by the National Bank, the Foundation recognized personalities or organizations having contributed in their own way and in a significant way to the defense of the rights of LGBTQ+ people.It is to the talented Gisèle Lullaby, investigative journalist and woman of the people who hosted this wonderful evening! Thanks also to Sarahmée for this electrifying performance.
